Webinar: User-centric Testing

Wednesday, August 18, 2010; Time: 4:00 PM-4:45 PM BST

The world has changed after the recession. There is tectonic shift in the QA practice. "Reduced time to market" is the single most important deliverable in an IT project. In this scenario, the idea of user- centric testing (UCT) is rapidly catching momentum in the QA community. UCT works on the model of defining QA parameters, which are derived from the "expectation" of the end user. Testing does not have to correct everything, but should correct the most important thing. New approach requires new tools, which can compliment legacy test tools.

In this presentation, George Mackintosh, Chief Executive, TestPlant and Joost Voeten, Head of Pre-sales Support, TestPlant - a strategic partner of AppLabs, attempt to share their experience in UCT implementations and also encourage thoughts on how this approach can be further improved.

This webinar is aimed at the following roles within organizations:

  • CIO/CTO/IT Directors
  • Heads of Testing/Test Managers
  • Risk Management Professionals
  • Test Environment Managers/Test Architects
  • Testing Professionals
