Sashi Reddi is the founder and executive chairman of AppLabs, the world's largest software testing and quality management company. Since its founding in April 2001, Sashi has grown AppLabs from a 3 person outfit in a shared office space in Philadelphia to its current size of 2,000 employees in the US, UK, and India.

A serial entrepreneur, Sashi has started two other companies prior to AppLabs. His first company was EZPower Systems, a developer of products for building and maintaining large-scale web applications. EZPower was acquired by DocuCorp and then eventually by Oracle. EZPower technology continues to be a part of Oracle’s document management offerings. Following EZPower, Sashi founded iCoop, a group purchasing dotcom company that went bust. He began his career consulting on technology and strategy to Fortune 500 companies in the travel, financial services, automotive and consumer packaged goods industries.

Sashi is also the founder and chairman of FXLabs, a leading developer of high quality game products for PC's, consoles, and online.

Sashi received his BTech degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi. He went on to gain an MS in Computer Science from New York University and later a PhD from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.

Sashi serves on the advisory board of the Wharton Entrepreneurial Programs and is a charter member of TiE Hyderabad.

Makarand Teje is the President & CEO of AppLabs, the world's largest software testing and quality management company.

Makarand has 20+ years of experience in the global IT industry covering P&L management, business development, operations, program management and strategic marketing.

Prior to joining AppLabs, Makarand worked at Wipro for 15+ years, during which he worked on multiple assignments for its’ Indian as well as international businesses. During his last assignment at Wipro, he led the global Insurance industry business.

Prior to Wipro, Makarand worked at Interface Electronics as the Regional Manager for Western India region and completed his management traineeship with Skefko India Bearing Co. in Mumbai. Makarand is an Electrical Engineer and has an MBA in Marketing from the Bombay University, India.

John Carmody is the Senior Vice President, North America of AppLabs, the world’s largest software testing and quality management company. In his current role, he leads all aspects of operations and sales in North America. John brings over 17 years of Sales and Account Management experience to AppLabs. In his prior assignment as Vice President of Strategic Accounts, he was responsible for managing a team of account managers that were working with AppLabs largest accounts within North America.

Prior to his elevation as Vice President, John opened new territories for AppLabs by signing clients in California, Atlanta, Virginia as well as in Ireland and the United Kingdom. As an individual contributor, he was successful in signing AppLabs largest customers and these clients remain AppLabs largest to date. In his latest role, John will focus on sales and operations with an eye on accelerated sales growth while achieving the highest levels of customer loyalty.

His Sales career in the IT industry began with a Territory Management role with Oracle Corporation, where he offered RDBMS, CASE tools and ERP solutions to the market. He eventually joined Diffusion, a company focused on developing cutting edge push technology, which got acquired by the content management powerhouse, Vignette. Subsequently, John returned to the world of start-ups and was a top Account Executive with Evoke Software before joining AppLabs.

Early in his career, John worked in a logistics management position for PepsiCo Wines & Sprits International. In his next assignment he represented a Dutch multi-national steel company, Hoogovens, which had its US Sales office in New York. He spent five years in this position traveling internationally with US clients visiting steel mills for sales and technical discussions.

John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame, USA.

Doc Parghi is the Senior Vice President and Head of Europe of AppLabs, the world’s largest software testing and quality management company. After having led the North American business successfully, Doc took up the assignment to scale up the European business at a faster pace. In his current role, Doc leads all aspects of the European operations and has full ownership of the European business. He is responsible for creating strategic business relationships to drive overall revenue growth. Prior to this, Doc served as Senior Vice President, North America in which he led all aspects of the North American business which is AppLabs’ largest market.

As one of the first employees and Sales leaders of the organization, Doc has been instrumental in transforming AppLabs into global software testing power house, with a presence in 3 continents and over 2,000 employees. Doc has institutionalized the organization’s sales processes to support scaling and spectacular growth has been achieved both organically and inorganically.

Doc has over 16 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, strategic planning, operations and finance. Prior to AppLabs, Doc was at CIGNA, a Fortune 100 financial-services giant. Prior to CIGNA, Doc worked in a key role at The Pep Boys-Manny, Moe & Jack; the nation's leading full service automotive aftermarket chain.

Prior to Pep Boys, Doc was with Henkels & McCoy one of the largest privately held engineering, network development and construction firms serving the communications, information technology and utility industries in the United States.

Doc has a dual MBA in Marketing and Finance, as well as a dual Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Finance from Drexel University.

Doc serves or has served on the boards of several charitable organizations including the Young Friends of The Philadelphia Museum of Art and Friends of the American Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania where he rose to Vice-Chair. Doc also serves on a Strategic Advisory Board for the Eastern Technology Council.

Vikash Sureka is the Senior Vice President, Global Finance of AppLabs, the world’s largest software testing and quality management company.

Vikash has over 15 years of experience in various financial areas including P&L Management, Financial Planning, Accounting, Corporate Audit, Risk Assessment, Structuring deals and negotiating large contracts.

Prior to joining AppLabs, Vikash worked at Wipro for over 10 years, during which he worked on multiple middle and senior level assignments within the Finance Organisation including Corporate Audit, Financial Planning, Management Reporting and Business Finance. As part of the Europe’s leadership team, Vikash was actively involved in developing business plans for key Geographies. In his last role he was responsible for business finance for Wipro’s Europe Business, at about $1B in size.

Prior to Wipro, Vikash completed his articleship at S.B. Billimoria & Co., a Chartered accountant firm based in Bangalore, India .He has also worked for over 5 Years as an Accountant for Kanoria Plaschem Ltd.

Vikash is a Chartered Accountant.

Scott Andress is Vice President & Global Head, Alliances and Service Lines for AppLabs, the world's largest software testing and quality management company. Scott spearheads AppLabs' global alliances efforts and on building business relationships.

Scott has over 15 years of experience in sales, business development, finance, marketing, strategy and management and has a successful history of direct Fortune 500 account sales and distribution channel development in the areas of collaboration, infrastructure, client/server, web 2.0, web-based and enterprise applications.

Prior to AppLabs, Scott was Senior Director of Business Development at BEA Systems responsible for world-wide business development efforts of the WebLogic Product Line and Business Interaction Division. At BEA Systems, Scott was responsible for the development and management of strategic ISV partnerships from deal inception to deal execution and implementation.

Prior to BEA Systems, Scott was EVP, Business Development and Co-Founder of Compoze Software (acquired by BEA Systems, July 2005). Since it's inception in 1999, Compoze Software was a leading provider of collaboration software for enterprise portals. At Compoze, Scott was responsible for direct sales and strategic alliances.

IG Reddy, Vice President, Global Solutions Engineering of AppLabs, is responsible for solutions engineering function globally. He has been with AppLabs since April 2005.

IG has over 18 years of experience in the manufacturing and IT sectors. Prior to joining AppLabs, IG worked for Cordys as Senior Manager, Product Management where he developed the product concepts of Real Time Enterprise (RTE), Compliance Management (SOX) and Cordys Connectivity Framework (CCF). He began his career at Tata Steel, where he worked on industrial engineering and operations management practicing, capacity management, capital schemes evaluation and implementation of business applications. Later he joined Baan Info Systems India Limited where he was responsible for product consulting, solution selling, delivery and presales support for global customers.

IG has a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering from NITIE and Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from NIT. He is also certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Integrated Resource Management (CIRM) from APICS and holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) diploma from ICFAI, India.

Arun Rao is the Global Vice President, Human Resources of AppLabs, the world’s largest software testing and quality management company. In his current role, Arun oversees the HR operations and people development initiatives globally.

Prior to taking up his current position at AppLabs, Arun was the head of the HR function at Intelligroup Asia, an IT Services Firm based out of Hyderabad, where he was responsible for post-recruitment HR operations as well as the Learning & Development functions. He also worked with Satyam Computers in leadership positions in HR and at Mascon Global, where he worked in their offices in India and the US, to manage their Business HR functions.

Arun started his career with Steel Authority of India Ltd as a Management Trainee in 1989, where he worked with them in various capacities in their Personnel and HR teams till 1999, post which he opted for Voluntary Separation.

Arun has a post graduate diploma in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations from the XLRI, Jamshedpur, (Class of 1995), and a Bachelor Degree in Science from the University of Delhi (Class of 1987).

Sai heads the software testing professional services group at AppLabs, the world’s largest software testing and quality management company. He has been with AppLabs since December 2002.

Sai has over 16 years of IT experience. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies in US for over 12 years. He began his career at William Telecommunications, where he worked on building applications for NeXT desktops. Later he got into developing X-windows applications at Schlumberger Well Services. Sai was part of key Legacy to Client server implementation at Fidelity Investments & Brokerage services, before contributing to SAP implementation at Phillips Lighting in New Jersey. For over 6 years, Sai worked very closely with utility deregulation phenomenon in US. As part of utility deregulation implementation (while working at NSI, Exolink, and Alliance Data), Sai has contributed to utility deregulation implementation at NYSEG, NIMO, PECO, PSEG, Duquesne, Penn Power, CSP, CNGE, TXU, and HP&P.

Sai has an MS in Computer Science from Lamar University, Texas and a BS in Civil Engineering from JNTU, Hyderabad.

Bob Donaldson is the Vice President of Business Development for AppLabs, the world’s largest software testing and quality management company. In this role he is responsible for managing the company’s new customer acquisition efforts and top line revenue generation in the enterprise market.

Bob joins AppLabs with over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining AppLabs, Bob had extensive sales management experience at two technology start-ups, including ProcessUnity, Inc. and Meridian Data, Inc., in which he was instrumental in revenue growth and customer acquisition. Prior to ProcessUnity, Inc., Bob served in a number of sales management roles for Novell, Inc., where he led both enterprise and new business sales. As Director of Sales for New York he played a pivotal role in the development of Novell’s Global Account program and the execution of Novell’s Open Source ‘go-to-market strategy’.

Bob has a Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing from Elizabethtown College, USA.

David Leabeater is the Vice President of Business Development in the UK for AppLabs, the world’s largest software testing and quality management company. He is responsible for managing the company’s new customer acquisition efforts and top line revenue generation in the UK market.

David joins AppLabs with over 15 years in business development and management roles much of which has focused on outsourcing powered by integrated offshore-onshore solutions.

Prior to joining AppLabs, David held senior business development roles in Xansa plc (acquired by Steria Groupe) over more than 7 years. Before that he held senior business development roles in Computer Sciences Corporation. Prior to that he held senior business development and management roles at Ernst & Young.

David was responsible for setting up and running a joint venture consultancy and services business backed by Deloitte & Touche and the National Consumer Council (sponsored by the Department of Trade & Industry). He won and managed programmes for the BBC, leading UK utilities, government departments and agencies.

David has a 1st class BA and PhD from the University of Sydney.

Martyn Hatfield is the Vice President for AppLabs European Operations. In this role, Martyn is responsible for the delivery and management of Testing consultancy services to our clients across Europe.

Martyn joined AppLabs in 2001 as a Test Analyst and progressed into Team Lead, Test Management and Project Management roles. He is a qualified Prince2 Practitioner and holds ISEB qualifications. Martyn has also performed Account Management and Service Delivery roles for AppLabs prior to moving into his current role as Head of Operations. He has been in the IT Industry for over 20 years starting as a COBOL programmer with British Gas before moving into various PC and Network Support roles. He became involved in Testing full-time in 2000.

Outside of work Martyn spends time with his family, his wife and children, plays a little golf and tennis and is an avid Aston Villa Football fan.

Mark Megson is the Vice President of Client Engagement for AppLabs, the world's largest software testing and quality management company.

Mark joined the company in March 2005, quickly winning and then developing some of the largest accounts within AppLabs today. Mark has worked within the IT industry for the last 20 years, primarily with software and services companies and has built strong commercial relationships within a number of Systems Integration organizations which have led to productive long term business.

When not at work, Mark loves time with his family and ferries his children to endless sports and social events.

Rajesh Patil is the Vice President for BFSI and Life Sciences verticals at AppLabs, the world’s largest software testing and quality management company. Prior to joining AppLabs, Rajesh spent 12 years of his professional career working with different organizations in the US.

Rajesh has worked as Senior Enterprise Architect at Sanofi-Aventis, the worlds 3rd largest pharmaceutical company. He was involved in integrating Aventis’ acquisition of mydoconline.com into the company. He worked on post-merger global enterprise technology strategy and implementation. Rajesh has extensive experience in both, application and infrastructure domains. Rajesh setup application based shared services across US, France, Germany and led key project implementations. He also served as an architect for key initiatives. His experience in infrastructure management includes Global Data Center consolidation, Technology Operations and supporting Processes. He has worked with different groups in the organization, including the Research & Development, Commercial, Technology and Support groups. He has extensive international experience having worked with teams in France, Germany, UK, India and Japan.

Rajesh was the Chief Technology Officer for MedLinx Interactive, an online medical transcriptions company, heading up product development and the operations group.

He started his career with Merrill Lynch as a Senior Technology Solutions Architect, where he worked on various back office business applications. Rajesh’s experience at Merrill included the implementing internet technologies and key business driven technology initiatives. He worked on various businesses supporting account management, asset management, sales and business intelligence.

Rajesh has a MS in Computer Science from City University of New York, USA and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from REC, Bhalki, India.

Ravi Ramachandran is the Vice President, Strategic Account Management of AppLabs, the world’s largest software testing and quality management company. In his role, he is responsible for managing strategic customer relationships that drive revenue growth globally.

Ravi has over 14 years of experience in leadership positions encompassing Strategy, Business Development and General Management. He has enabled global services companies based in India, China and other geographies to scale their business and grow their footprint in the US market. In these leadership roles, Ravi has driven substantial revenue growth within key multinational accounts that span a variety of verticals including BFSI, Manufacturing, Retail and Media. These account successes include well-known brands like Coca-Cola, Proctor & Gamble, JP Morgan Chase, Credit Suisse, Reuters and BASF.

Most recently, Ravi was SVP, North America Operations at VanceInfo Technologies the largest China-based IT services firm and first to complete a successful public listing in the USA (NYSE: VIT). Prior to this, he spent over 6 years at Cambridge Solutions (recently acquired by Xchanging an outsourcing firm with revenues of over $1 Billion) in various capacities including VP & GM Global Financial Services (IT) and Head of USA Region Sales. Previously, Ravi was a senior consultant with Scient, one of the fastest growing internet systems integration firms, where he advised Fortune1000 enterprises to define business strategies and implement leading-edge eBusiness systems. His past experience also includes positions at Pegasystems and Lewtan Technologies.

Ravi holds an MBA from Clark University in Massachusetts and a Bachelor's Degree from Delhi University.
